Supporting Our Sponsored Families

As the pandemic continues to affect our beloved village of Bwindi, we remain committed to seeing our 450 sponsored families through this crisis.

The majority of businesses and airports in the area are closed, which has tremendous economic impact on a region that depends on tourism. Food remains scarce, so we will continue our monthly food distribution program until the pandemic is over.

Because of your support, we’ve been able to feed more than 2,000 individuals since COVID-19 began via our Foundation’s Bwindi Headquarters.

All schools in Uganda have been closed since March 20th, so we’ve also transformed our Foundation Headquarters into a workspace for our 125 secondary students. None of our students have computers or WiFi access at home, so they travel to the Foundation House to complete their schoolwork virtually.
