Updates from Uganda – June 2025 Newsletter

A Note from Ann, Jeanne and Carol
Dear Friends,
We’ve just returned from an inspiring trip to Uganda and are thrilled to share some exciting updates made possible by your generous support!
Dorms Nearing Completion:
The new dormitories are almost finished and will soon provide a safe, nurturing home for 100 students and teachers. This is a game-changer for children who previously walked miles to school and studied without light.
Solar Power Installed:
The biggest news—solar energy is now live on our campus! In a village that previously had no electricity, our students will now benefit from lighting, Wi-Fi access, improved security, and a safe environment to learn and grow.
Microloan Milestone:
We’ve issued 397 microloans to support local entrepreneurship, 301 of which have gone to women-led businesses. These small investments are creating real economic change in the community.
Fighting Hunger with Project Harvest:
Our farming initiative, Project Harvest, has dramatically reduced food scarcity—from 347 families down to just 49! Families now have more reliable access to nutritious food, thanks to training, tools, and seeds provided through your support.
None of this would be possible without you. Your donations are transforming lives—bringing light, opportunity, and hope to rural Uganda. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
With deep gratitude,
Ann, Jeanne, and Carol
