Dear Kamukama Foundation Family,

We recently returned from two inspiring, joy-filled Vision Trips to Uganda and are grateful to share the incredible impact our community is making in beloved Bwindi.

Below are just a few of the many meaningful milestones we witnessed and learned about:

• After a four-year effort, our new dormitories are now open! We welcomed 100 students and teachers into their new home, where gratitude and joy fill the air. Surrounded by maternal love and mentorship from their house mothers, our students are receiving nutritious meals seven days a week and, for many, access to electricity for the first time.
• Our staff distributed 2,000 mosquito nets to our families to protect against malaria.
• We opened a new nursery class at Ebenezer, giving our youngest students the opportunity to begin their educational journey at age 3.
• Students living in the dorms put their critical thinking and strategic planning skills to work by learning to play chess.
• 400 farmers in Project Harvest received financial literacy training and more than 400 households received micro-financing loans to launch businesses and build greater financial stability for their families.
